Sea Port Village-San Diego

A Duck Pond at Seaport Village. A great place to relax

“A 14 acre waterfront shopping, dining and entertainment complex recreating a harbor side setting of a century ago. Includes 54 one of a kind shops, 13 casual dining eateries, 4 fine dining waterfront restaurants, and located in close proximity to local hotels. “

Ron and I bought bright red lifeguard hoodies at Seaport Village.  Upon reflection I think we’ll never wear them in public now that we’re back home.  I live in Wyoming, we dress conservatively here. The hoodies were fun and made perfect sense in warm fun colorful Seaport Village. If my home in Wyoming is a brown Carhart t-shirt, Seaport Village in San Diego is a Hawaiian Aloha Shirt.
The folks there only added to the mood of the place.  Friendly, positive, helpful, They were infected by the warm humid pacific sea breeze.

I’ll have to return one day to get something from the kite store there.

People watch the sailboats in the Harbor. The Coronado Bridge is in the background at Seaport Village.
